Bailey Katelyn Paige Bailey, 6- week-old daughter of Brian Keith Bailey and Tonya Wilkie Bailey of 124 Laurel Lane, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, in Greenville Memorial Hospi. tal. Surviving in addition to her parents are a sister, Karmen Hope Bailey of the home; maternal grandparents, David and Elaine Fitch of Blacksburg and Jimmy and Debbie Wilkie of Gaffney; paternal grandparents, Keith and Teresa Bailey of Gaffney; maternal great-grandparents, Clarence and Shirley Wilkie of Gaffney and James Bolin of Blacksburg; and paternal and Elnita Poole and Doris great-grandparents, Ralph Bailey, all of Gaffney.

Graveside services will be held today at 4 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Steve Durham. The family is at the home. Arrangements by ShufordHatcher Funeral home.

Jimmy Ruppe Owner of Jimmy Ruppe Rentals "Jimmy" James Melvin Ruppe, 62, of 3339 Union died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, in Spartanburg Regional Healthcare. A native of Gaffney, he was the husband of Judith Kay Harris Ruppe and son of Doris Ellen Blanton Ruppe and the late James Floyd Ruppe. Mr. Ruppe was owner of Jimmy Ruppe Rentals and was a state constable for many years.

He was a member of Cherokee Creek Baptist church. Surviving are his wife, "Judy" Judith Kay Harris Ruppe of the home; daughter, Jennifer Ruppe Rogers of Gaffney; grandson, Zachary Taylor 1 Rogers; mother, Doris Ellen Blanton Ruppe of Gaffney, sisters, Gail Bright of Gaffney, Pam Parker of Suffolk, and Penny Harper of Blountville, and brother Ricky Ruppe of Graveside services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Revs. Scott Wachter and Terry Pleasant. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hicks, John T.

Crocker, Joe Mathis, Pittman Grubb, Jason Harris, Wayne Peeler and Mike Mathis. The family is at the home, 3339 Union and at the home of his mother at 115 Bridges Farm Road. Enid T. Sicard, 85, went to join the love her life, Joseph R. Sicard, on Aug. 11, 2004. Born in Freeman, Maine, she was the daughter of the late James and Jane Tash.

Enid was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the Sunshine Club. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Arnold Tash and Donald Tash; and grandchildren, Jimmy, Joey and Stephanie. Enid was loved by all. She enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the children in her neighborhood. Enid will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane Blakeley of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Teresa Burton and husband, Mark, of Jacksonville, Robert Bolton and wife, Robin, and Stephen Bolton and wife, Jessica, who lovingly cared for Enid, all of Virginia Beach; great-grandchildren, Robert Bolton Tiffany Ann Bolton, Miranda Burton, Joseph Bolton, Theresa Bolton, Cody Bolton, Collin Burton and Jazmine Bolton; nephews, Richard Tash and wife, Frances, James Tash and wife, Claire, Donald Tash and wife, Olive, and William Tash and wife, Priscilla, all of New England. A special thanks to Odyssey Health Care Hospice, especially, Carmen Largo, and Enid's caregiver, Wanda Locke; and a host of other loving family members and friends, including Amy Elliott, Dawn Tefft, Brenda Lamboy and Lisa Ruiz. 11, 2004, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center. A native of York County, she was the widow of James Atkins, Sr. and daughter of the late Arthur and Ellen McAfee Dover. She was a member of Elm Street Church of God and a member of the Golden Agers. Surviving are two sons, James Atkins, Jr.

and Charles Wayne Atkins, both of Gaffney; two daughters, Mary Millwood of Greer and Janet Skaggs of Spartanburg; a brother, Charlie Dover of Gaffney; two sisters, Mary Carroll of Blacksburg and Vergie Johnson of Clover; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and two stepgreat In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Atkins was preceded in death by a brother, A.W. A native of Gaffney, she was the wife of Charlie William Wise and daughter of the late John Harry Wyatt and the late Nettie Kirby Wyatt. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Randy Wise and Chad Sprouse, both of Gaffney; three daughters, Debra Seay of Blacksburg, Connie Mullinax and Jessica Sprouse Swofford, both of Gaffney; four brother's, Harold Wyatt, Jim Wyatt, Donald Wyatt and Bob Wyatt, all of Gaffney; three sisters, Laura Belle Allison, Millie Wyatt, both of Gaffney, and Barbara Fowler of Cowpens; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wise was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Wyatt Cobb.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at ShufordHatcher Chapel, conducted by the Revs. Calvin Hall and Randall White. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Lee Wise, Charlie Neelands, David W.

She was the wife of Jack H. Taylor and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Kim Taylor Wilkie of Gaffney, Tracie Taylor Langston of Gray Court and Cathy McMahan of one son, Bob Rearden of Clemson; six sisters; two brothers; seven grandchildren, Micki Franks, Amy McMahan, Amanda Carpenter and Alan Langston, all of Laurens, Carol Barnes of Gray Court, James Spearman and Brook Wilson, both of Gaffney; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Greg Taylor, of Brooklyn, N.Y. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Kennedy Funeral Home in Laurens.

Truzy Baby kennedy Haeven Truzy, infant daughter of Attorney Karonnie Truzy and Ebony Shippy Truzy of Winston-Salem, N.C., died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, in Forsyth Medical Center, WinstonSalem. Surviving in addition to her parents are grandparents, Lewis Truzy and Juanita Truzy and Victor Shippy and Brenda Shippy; great-grandparents, Edna and Rosa Worthy; and a number of aunts and uncles.

He was retired from National Tool Company in Kenilworth, N.J., and moved back to Gaffney after his retirement. Surviving are a daughter, Beverly Ann Littlejohn of Lynchburg; and three sisters, Ruby Lipscomb, Evelyn Goudelock and Justine Wilkins, all of Gaffney.

Services will be held Monday afternoon at Philadelphia Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Danny Burnside and John W. Wilkins. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Body will be placed in the church an hour before the funeral.

Daughter of Rosa Lee Pitman Haney of Washington and the late Sam Dantel Haney she was a native of Gaffney and was reared by her grandparents, the late President Press Haney and the late Venus F. Fowler Haney. She was a graduate of Granard High School. Surviving are a daughter, Nicole Bynum, and a son, Rodney T.
