Page 9-The Gaffney Ledger, Monday, March 2, 1987 Lonnie Mosley, 74, of Rt. 6, the McKown Mountain Community, widower of Wilma J. Mosley, died Sunday in the VA Medical Center in Columbia. A native of Cherokee County and former resident of Blacksburg, he was retired from Hamrick Mills of Gaffney and Bill Tessner's Garage in Blacksburg. He was a WW II Army veteran and a member of Elm Street Church of God.

Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Rudder of Chester; three grandchildren; one greatgrandchild. Services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at McKown Mountain Baptist Church conducted by Revs. Dean Painter, B.P. Moss and M.P.

Hampton with burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse Peterson, Jack Moore, Fred Mosley, Raymond Crawford, David Hampton, Bill Tessner, David Rudder and Scott McAbee. Body is at the home of Betty McAbee, Rt. 6, Draytonville Community. Gordon Mortuary, Blacksburg.

Lonnie Mosley Illa R. Elliot BLACKSBURG -Illa Rusha Elliot, 58, of 314 Mountain St. died Saturday in Cleveland Memorial Hospital, Shelby. A native of Jasper, she was a daughter of Thera Adams Wetherington of Tallahassee, and the late Gordon Wetherington, former employee of Monsanto of Blacksburg and a member of Broad River Baptist Church. Also surviving are two daughters, Ruth Bright of Blacksburg and Glenda Dyer of Shelby; two sisters, Janice Herzog of New Orleans, and Carolyn Kerzan of Tallahassee, seven grandchildren.

Services were held today at 3 p.m. at Broad River Baptist Church conducted by Revs. Howard Allen, Calvin Bryant and Allen Davis with burial in Mount Paran Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers were De Witt, Jackie and Larry Elliot, Dale Lecroy, Bob Vipperman and Kenneth Morgan. Gordon Mortuary.

Frank Wilson Frank Wilson, 61, husband of Mary Ruth Causby Wilson, Rt. 1, the Concord Church Road, died Friday in Cherokee Memorial Hospital. A native of Blythewood, S.C., he was a son of the late Michael and Carrie Mathis Wilson, a retired textile employee, WWII Army veteran, Baptist and employee of Sleep-Easy Mattress Co. Also surviving are one son, James Franklin Wilson of Florence; one daughter, Drucilla W. Ferrell of Chester; stepson, Robert Daniel Rhinehart of Gaffney; stepdaughter, Dianna Starnes of Blacksburg; sister, Mrs.

Lucy Webb of Wilmington, N.C.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Gordon Mortuary in Blacksburg conducted by Rev. Herman Thomas with burial in Mountain View Cemetery in Blacksburg. Pallbearers were Newton Taylor, Kenneth Cook, Jackie Wallace, John Henderson, Jack Horton and Dean Sealy.

Margaret Randolph, Mrs. Marshall Davis, Mrs. Judy Davis and Mrs. Betty Wallace, all of Gaffney. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.

at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Charles Harrison with burial in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Joe Bradley Joe Bradley III, Harold, Robert and Steve Bradley and Jerry McCraw. Family is at the residence and will receive friends from 7-8 tonight at the funeral home. John Curry Zavier Terrill, J.W. Sanders Jr. and Walter Ellis with burial in Gaffney Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Thomas Gibbs, Jesse Norris, McElroy Sarters, King Littlejohn Allen Dowdle, George Hall, David Johnson, Paul Littlejohn and Arvin Corry. Body will be placed in the church Wednesday at 2 p.m.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-8 p.m. at the Gilmore Mortuary. Talmadge B. Oglesby Jr. Willie Robbs Willie Robbs, 83, 1421-A Car- ver Heights, Florence, husband of Mrs.

Lillie Robbs of Spartanburg, died Friday at his residence. A native of Cherokee County, he was a son of the late Will and Lizzie Robbs, a veteran of WW II and a former member of Suck Creek Baptist Church. Also surviving are one son, Michael Robbs of the home; one sister, Mrs. Corine Brewton of Atlanta, one brother, Pink Robbs of Richmond, Va. Arrangements are incomplete.

A native of Cherokee County, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Maggie Dickson Hamrick, a retired food service manager and a member of East Gaffney Baptist Church.
